She was previously managing editor at IndiaSpend.com and FactChecker.in, India’s foremost public interest evidence-based journalism websites. She has been the India correspondent for Bloomberg Law and Time magazine, as well as a reporter, sub-editor and leader writer with leading Indian newspapers, the Hindustan Times and The Indian Express.

A 2020 Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellow, she has a Masters in International Relations from the University of Warwick and a Masters in English Literature with Post-Colonial Studies from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
