Karina is the Director of Profession and Standards for Project Delivery in the UK’s Cabinet Office, responsible for improving professional capability and setting standards for the 26,000 people delivering projects in government. Karina has been a civil servant for over 30 years, mainly in the finance and tax departments, in a range of operational, policy, strategy and corporate roles. She has led various projects over the last 17 years, including the UK’s largest geospatial data transformation programme. She is a Fellow of the Association of Project Management and an accredited UK government Master Practitioner. She is married with two daughters and lives near London.
