Having spent many years in teaching in different set-ups, state run schools, private schools and alternative schools and also home-run tuitions in the subject of English, I am still involved in teaching writing skills on a demand-based small scale and doing some writing of my own.

I hope I am able to produce some piece of writing in the end which will make it all worthwhile. Though dreaming, reading, observing nature, watching the birds, taking 8X pictures of flowers in my garden makes it worthwhile in itself and releases me of the pressures of an end result. My ultimate dream remains to wear a mini skirt and walk the Kings Road again after 50 yrs!!! Women’s empowerment, the use of creativity in language and approach and a sustainable lifestyle are areas close to my heart.
