Urmil is an Executive Trustee of the Cordia Group of Educational Institutes, Sanghol and the Director of the Lord Rana Foundation, UK. She is an educationist and received the ‘Pride of India Award’ 2017 from NRI Institute, at the House of Lords, Westminster, London, was also awarded in 2014 by Sanch Foundation at House of Lords, London, and the ‘Shiksha Bharti Puraskar,’ 2008 from All India Achievers Foundation in New Delhi, and many more from various organizations in India.
